My name is Matthew Tims and I have been an independent, fully qualified Driving Standards Agency, Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) for over 3 years and I am the owner of Ipswich Driving Tuition in Ipswich.

Before becoming a driving instructor, I spent 18 years within the transport industry, driving HGVs. I have a calm and relaxed teaching style and our driving lessons together will be informative and enjoyable.

My aim is to teach you to drive in the most effective way, so that when you pass your test, you will have the driving skills to make you a safe and proficient driver for life. You will learn in a new Vauxhall Astra fitted with dual contols for your comfort and safety.

As part of learning to drive with my driving school you will also have access to THEORY TEST Pro, which is a free service I provide to help you pass your THEORY & HAZARD PERCEPTION TEST.

I offer driving lessons in the Ipswich, Woodbridge and Felixstowe areas and cover post codes: IP1, IP2, IP3, IP4 IP5, IP6, IP8, IP10 and IP11.

I provide a door-to-door service, enabling you to be picked up and dropped off at home, work or college, with the option of nightime or early morning lessons.

I also offer refresher courses for anyone returning to driving, or if you are considering supervising a learner driver whilst they practice in their own car. I can take you out and show you the standard that is expected of a pupil, to prepare for their test and to explain some common faults to look out for.
